H-P Products introduces VROOM® vacuum appliance for craft and hobby shops
Three-second clean capability conveniently whisks tracked-in dirt and debris from craft projects with minimum disruption
A new compact, built-in vacuum appliance from H-P Products, Louisville, Ohio, enables craft and hobby shops to whisk dust, dirt, wood shavings, shredded paper and other debris created by craft projects from floors and countertops in seconds. Faster clean-up means more time for customers, and a neater, more professional shop appearance.
Vroom is the first built-in, quick-clean vacuum appliance available in America. Compact units can be placed below counters or in cabinets in work areas and restrooms making it possible to clean up ordinary dry messes quickly without going to storage rooms to get brooms, vacuum cleaners or mops. Vroom remains out of sight and ready for use whenever it’s needed.
Vroom packs up to 24’ of vacuum hose into a 3.25” wide x 22” deep x 16.25” tall case that installs easily into any standard cabinet or under countertops and tables. It can clean a zone up to 48 ft wide, yet completely disappears when not in use. When counters, floors or drawers get dirty, workers simply reach under the counter, pull out the hose, clean and replace. The unit turns on when the nozzle is raised and the hose retracts automatically when finished. With most normal messes the entire process takes about 3-seconds.
“Our 3-Second Clean concept is ideal wherever you need to remove dry debris,” said marketing manager Amy Wesely. “Simply pull the retractable hose out of its base to start the vacuum automatically. It stops when the hose snaps back into place.”
More powerful than handheld or upright vacuums, Vroom also eliminates the bulk and inconvenience of conventional vacuum cleaners. It does away with broom vacs, stick mops and standard brooms and dustpans that clutter storage spaces.
Two models are available. Vroom Central is designed for spaces with central vacuum systems. It deposits vacuumed debris into a large central vacuum canister located in a remote area. Vroom Solo is a standalone model that has its own motor built-in. The integral bag catches all vacuumed dirt and debris.
